My bad picture unfortunately does not do justice to this beautiful jacaranda trees and the color of its flowers, which already started to dye the grass of their deep purple.

I see these trees in bloom scattered 'all over here in Sydney, but I read that Brisbane is the city which has the largest number. Grafton is also famous for its jacaranda trees and every year it hosts the "jacaranda festival" to celebrate the flowering period.

There is also a saying from the University of Sydney tied to these trees: "By the time the jacaranda in the main quadrangle flowers, it's too late to start studying for exams." In fact the school year draws to a close e. .. instead of sitting here writing I should see to finish my "tasks" as they are already in fantaritardo! * Kiss *

THE WITCH AND TETSUYA'S (Part I)

It's something that happened to me over a month ago and which I had completely forgotten until it is talk about it last night in front of a pizza except that it was all worthy of the name.

One Thursday a month and a half ago, driven by a craving for sushi, I call D. to ask him to find a Japanese restaurant where you can go to dinner finished the lessons. Also D. Sydney is new and not knowing decent seats, decided to rely on the network. Found a restaurant apparently quite expensive but with good reviews, decided to call for reservations. The lady who answers the phone tells him kindly to that day all the tables are booked and D. wonders whether it is possible to book the next day. At that point the young lady's note that the restaurant is fully booked until February next year ... ! That's if you want to have dinner on weekdays, on weekends because you have to wait until at least mid-April!

And I thought that places like this existed only in Sex & the City!

That evening we had to find a palliative, but now for me it was a matter of principle: I had dinner at that restaurant! So I made reservations a table in March and I can tell you if that is really worth the wait just to eat at Tetsuya's.

At least I do not have to worry about forgetting the book ... in fact are kind enough to call a few days before to remember!

I know, I too was going to give this blog up for dead. In reality I have to be almost dead! We are at the end of the first half of the course and the last "missions" have been distributed all awkwardly at the end. Four weeks to produce 2 websites, a comic book of twelve pages, a search and a storyboard.
have already been two weeks, I delivered the first site yesterday and if I do not sleep tonight, tomorrow I should be able to deliver on time the second. Before absolute experience in this field and I think that will be the last. Who invented the HTML had to be seriously disturbed and Internet Explorer should not exist! Boycott Explorer! Firefox forever (or any other browser in case)!
hate for HTML aside, I'm almost satisfied with the sites that I made. That's why I posted the picture is the site for a band of music course called GEMINI (with two hippies care about the environment, if you're wondering why the gas mask). The other site is a sort of online portfolio and I'm thinking of putting it on the net seriously.
